Candle Lantern Festival

Presented by NENA and Hyde Park Merchants

The Candle Lantern Festival is a long-standing tradition in the Northend and takes place each year in historic Hyde Park. The event is new this year and is open to all ages with plans to have something for everyone through the evening. Click below on links for candle lantern making or you can just show and make your own with materials supplied on-site.

See all the new Christmas decorations in Hyde Park, make candle lanterns and spend time with your family and neighbors. Hyde Park has much more to add.

Goody's Storytelling - Santa has traditionally made an early visit to Goodys for storytelling.

Music and Caroling - Various groups that have entertained include the Random Ladies. Song and music for all ages.

Food Specials - Hyde Park restaurants will have food specials and hot cocoa for everyone.

Build Candle Lanterns - NENA and Hyde Park volunteers are on hand with supplies and tools to help the kids build a Candle Lantern.
