Gordon S. Bowen Park

Location: 1013 W. O'Farrell at the northeast corner of 10th St. and O'Farrell St.

Facilities: Picnicing, playground, restrooms and bike racks.

Bowen Park is quiet and secluded by Northend standards. It is great for toddlers and younger children

History

This small neighborhood park was named for the author and naturalist. In 1987 Bowen published 'Grandjean, Man of the Forests' with the assistance of the Idaho State Historical Museum.
